Description: Funky YB 1/11 x Funky 1/08.

I purchased 2 female "Yellow Bellies" years ago that turned out to just be "normals". However, both females had weird scales along their backs and head.

Both females produced in 2011 and the gene was proven to be dominant. They were both bred to a Pastel Ivory male thinking their were Yellow Bellies. No ivory's were produced but both females scalation carried onto approximately 1/2 of the offspring.

This clutch is the first time I've done a weird scale x weird scale.

I'm calling the weird scales "Funky". We'll see what we produce.......

This male bred up a storm for me in 2013 but unfortunately none of the females he bred produced offspring.

Description: Ivory "Ghost" 1/09 x Yellow Belly "HOG" 1/11.

This Ivory "Ghost" saga has been a very frustrating one. I purchased him in Daytona in 2009 as being an Ivory Orange Ghost that was compatible with the NERD line Orange Ghost (I wouldn't have bought him otherwise).

In 2011 I bred him to a bunch of POG and SPOG females and never produced any ghosts.

In 2012 I bred him to a bunch of Green Ghost females and he's not compatible with the Green Ghost either.

So, this year I'm breeding him back to his 2011 daughters to see if he is even a Ghost.........

If he is a Ghost he is not compatible with any other Ghost line out there......

With the clutches from last year and this year I think it's safe to say the male is not a Het Red Axanthic. As I have produced no Red Axanthics out of 4 clutches of him to Het RA females.

The male definitely is not dominant as I've produced none that look like him. Now I'll have to keep back females to grow up and see if he is recessive.

Either I have really bad luck (which is possible) or the "Albino YB" is really just an Albino.

If he's just a regular Albino it will be disappointing due to the fact that I'm going to have 6 clutches from him and was expecting to produce a bunch of Ivory Het albinos to further the Ivory/Puma/Highway Albino project. If he is just a regular Albino it really puts me back in this project.

Also, I produced the first Albinos in Canada back in 2001 (13 years ago) and sold all of my regular albino males years ago................
