This male has also fathered clutch # 103

This gene popped up randomly in my collection 2 years ago from breeding a Genetic Stripe male to a Het Red Axanthic female. It was the 3rd year in a row from that same breeding that produced this different looking guy. Hopefully he's genetic!

Results: This guy has proven to be genetic! So far this looks to be a Dominant mutation that was produced right here randomly from Genetic Stripe x Het Red Axanthic.......

I'll come up with a name for this mutation after I think about it for a bit (suggestions are welcome). Right now I'm going to refer to them at "???" as that is what I've called the male for the past 2 years......

Results: A really neat looking Het Red Axanthic male hatched out of this clutch. I produced a similar looking female back in 2007 (Black Stripe Het Red Axanthic Het Albino) that was very light like this guy is. I guess now I have a pair of them......

There were no lessers in the clutch which means these have a good chance of being het Ghost......

Results: So, I believe I've produced a SPOGL (Super Pastel Ghost Lesser).

I haven't produced a Super Pastel Lesser yet so I can only go on pictures of what they look like (to compare Pastel Lesser to a Super Pastel Lesser). I can say the head on this guy is not your typical POGL head and he is lighter in colour. So, I think I hit on it!

Update May 10 2011. This male is a SPOGL!

I'll grow him up to see how he colours up.
