Well, it looks like I've screwed up.....
I've been producing Orange Ghosts since in around 2002. Even from the begining I produced Orange Ghosts and het Orange Ghosts that had a really busy pattern. Some even come out with a black stripe. So, I think you know where I'm going with this.
Orange Ghost Het Red Axanthic Male 1/08 is what he is suppost to be.
Orange Ghost het Red Axanthic Male 2/08 & 3/08 seem to be just really busy patterned Ghosts.
Now that I've produced more of the Orange Ghost het Red Axanthics I can see the colour difference as well as the pattern differences as opposed to a regular Orange Ghost.
Just goes to show mistakes happen....

I didn't expect this female to go this year as she was small. I didn't breed a male to her until I seen her building for ovulation. It's better to get good eggs than have a female develop complications from not being bred.

My cannon camera has decided to crap out on me. I've taked over 30,000 pictures with it so I cannot really blame it for being tired. I'm going to send it away to get fixed. In the mean time I have my brothers canon camera on loan. The pictures seem darker out of it which is a shame. At any rate you can tell from these "crappy" pictures that these guys are really nice!

Lesser Het Red Axanthic 1 2006 & Lesser Het Green Ghost 1 2005 x Genetic Stripe 1 2005.
Last year this pairing (Lesser het RA x GS) gave me all slugs. I seen the Lesser het RA spurring this female but not breeding. So, at the last minute I put in one of my Lesser HGG males. I believe the Lesser Het Green Ghost will be the father.
I've been trying to do this breeding for a while now. Eventually I'll produce a Lesser Genetic Stripe.......

Well, it looks like the Lesser het Red Axanthic fathered this clutch. The ones that aren't a het red axanthic could be possible het ghost but I'm just going to assume they were all fathered from the Lesser het Red Axanthic.
Also, I got 2 males! Yes. Now I'm on my way to producing Lesser Red Axanthic Genetic Stripes, Lesser Stripes...etc.

I did not see the Granite breeding this female so I believe the Opal is the father?
The breeding picture shows both males in with the female.

Well, if the Opal Het RA fathered the clutch all of the babies would have been Pastel and 1/2 would have been Het Red Axanthics. So, the Granite male must be the father. They all appear to be normal so either the Granite isn't genetic or it's recessive. Most lines of Granite are dominant/co-dominant so I guess this line isn't genetic???....

I didn't observe any breedings with this pair and only 1 breeding last season. So, either this is retained sperm from last year or the male was very sneaky and bred this female quickly.

More very nice looking Pieds. High White Pieds are genetic as is evident in the number of High White Pieds I produce. I went out of my way to not only diversify my Pied stock but to also aquire high white stock for my breeding projects. It's really paid off!

5 eggs were laid and 1 was retained. It was drained and should pop out in about 3-7 days.

I love the look of a perfect Genetic Stripe! This ones a keeper.
I started out with a Genetic Stripe male that had zero side pattern and 2 smudge marks going down his back. Other than that he was perfect. All of the Genetic Stripes I've produced have had very clean to no side pattern and they either have a full perfect stripe or are slightly broken.
Much like with the Pieds, it seems like with the Genetic Stripes what you put in you get back out.........

Both Lesser males are darker than "regular" Lessers. The one male is noticably different than the other but both are darker. The normal appears to be normal.
I've been told that the recessive line that RDR proved out years ago grows into their Burgandy colour. So, if my line is genetic we'll if these guys change over time.

The kinked Caramels I produce are unmistakable. They look like you grabbed them 3/4 of the way down their bodies body with both hands and then broke their backs. Almost like you tried the pop them in the wrong spot and kinked their spins.
All of the kinked caramels I have produced have been the same and I'm breeding 3 different lines together (Bell, TSK and Malsin).

I hatched out this Melanistic Het albino back in 2007 from Albino x Normal. There was the 1 melanistic in the clutch and the rest of the babies looked inbetween the melanistic and a normal. So, we'll hopefully see if it's genetic...........

Super Pastel 1/06 x Het Red Axanthic 19/06.
The Super Pastel also has a visual recessive mutation in it and the het Red Axanthic is a gene carrier for the recessive mutation. I have yet to name this mutation. The founding female can be seen in clutch # 75.
This clutch is significant in the fact that I've beaten my previous record for the number of clutches in 1 season. My personal record was 96 clutchs back in 2006......
