Split Neck 1/06 x PG 1/08.
The male "Split Neck" is an extreme form of Granite. When he was a baby he arrived from Africa very skinny and small. Assist feeding was needed and a mouses tooth caught the skin on the side of his neck on the way down cutting him open. This was done as a baby and all is well now as Balls Pythons (as well as most snakes in general) have an extreme ability to heal themselves.
This is the first year that I've gotten eggs from this male so we'll see what happens. I have another line of Granite from the same shipment that has proven to be Dominant.
The "PG" is a dominant morph that I've been working with for a number of years.

I'm not sure what is going on here????
I talked to Michael Cole and the Ivory Ghost comes from an Orange Ghost Yellow Belly x Yellow Belly Het Orange Ghost. So, at the very least this guy should be an Ivory Het Ghost. Michael has also proven his line compatable with the Bell line of Orange Ghosts which is compatable with the NERD line.
So, either I'm extremely unlucky and this is an Ivory Het Ghost and I missed on the Ghosts out of 16 eggs. Or, this guy is an Ivory Ghost and the lines of Ghosts aren't compatable???
In person this "Ivory Ghost" appears to be just that an "Ivory Ghost"........
Alteast I know the babies I produced are 100% het NERD line Orange Ghost. However, I wish I had my crystal ball (for seeing into the future not the mutation) as I would have bred my Pastel Ivory male to these females if I had known I wasn't going to get any ghosts.....

Split Neck 1/06 x PH Banded 1/08.
The female was produced from a different looking CH male. I produced some offspring from him and unfortunately sold all of the males and then the father died :(
So, the PH Banded female comes from a dinker line but for now I'm just using her as a normal female. I didn't keep her because she was a possible het Banded but because she was from a wierd looking CH male.

I find with the Red Axanthic gene if you have to "question it" you've missed it. I thought I had hit the Pastel Lesser RA last year but obviously I didn't. This has happend multiple times. I thought I had produced the OG HRA and they were funky looking Ghosts. I thought I had produced the POG HRA in 2009 and then the one in 2010 slapped me in the face he was so nice (so I had missed the year before).......

The Pastel Caramel I originally thought was a Pastel Caramel Het RA since she has an incredible about of dots and a wacky pattern to her. However, when you compare her to the Pastels and normal in the clutch they have dots too but aren't Het RA's.
The Caramel is definately a Het RA and he's a boy!!

Between this clutch and clutch 68 there are 20 eggs cooking from Lavender x Het Genetic Stripe.
My lavender male was a shy breeder. If he liked the female he'd breed her all day long. However, if he didn't like her he'd curl up in the corner. I had a hard time finding females he liked so I tossed him in with a couple het Genetic Stripe females and he took a liking to them!

Pied 3/09, Pied 1/06, Pied 1/07 & Pied 1/08 x Het Pied "Ringer" 17/09.
I don't like breeding young females as I like to give them until their 3rd winter to breed. However, this one wasn't eating so I placed a Pied in with her to breed her hoping to get her back on food (females typically go back on food after they've been bred). Anyways, this female decided she was going to ovulate but the males just didn't like her. Anyways, it took some persistence but she got bred....
