From breeding a High Yellow Male to a Normal Female (Sib Pastel 2 1999 "Changer"). This clutch should produce 1/2 High Yellows and 1/2 Normal. This gene was proven to be Dominant last year from 3 seperate clutches. I'm reserving the right to change the name from "High Yellow" at a later date. These guys need a better name then that. The Female is an IMG. She changed to black, white and grey and is now changing back to her normal colour over a period of 2 years.

From breeding a High Yellow Male to an Aberrant Female (Burn). This clutch should produce all offspring that look like the mother and then half of those should be High Yellows. This pairing last year produced some really weird looking double visuals. I'm reserving the right to change the Males name from "High Yellow" at a later date. I also haven't named the Females morph either or the double visual offspring from 2005. 6 double visuals and 4 that look like the Mom were produced in 2005 out of 10 eggs.

2.3 Lessers and 0.1 Normal Lesser "Sib" hatched out on July 11 2006. Looks like another clutch from Super Pastel & Lesser males that were fathered entirely by the Lesser. However, none in the clutch look like the typical Black Stripes that I've produced in the past. So, either I missed on the Black Stripes or the Lessers are covering the Black Stripe gene. The Lessers are a pattern mutation as well as being a colour mutation so it is possible that the lessers bold pattern is covering up the Black Stripe????? Who knows.....maybe I missed on producing the double visual which seems to be a common theme this season.
